Densimeter-Alcoholmeter 701201

The densimeter or, also called "hydrometer", is a special instrument used to determine the density of different liquids. The operation of this device is based on the principle of Archimedes, where a body immersed in a liquid is supposedly balancing to the point where the weight of the displaced liquid equals the weight of that body (in this case the instrument).

The densimeter or hydrometer is an instrument used to determine the density of various liquids (aqueous solutions, alcohol, beverages, various oils, petroleum products, fuels, etc.). It is mainly used for industrial and laboratory measurements.

In general, the meadows are divided into two main categories: (a) "fixed volume and variable weight meadows" to which the Nilsson and Fahrenheit breathers belong, and (b) "fixed and variable volume metered-scale dishwashers", which include the "Beame Meter" and the Gah-Lysak Alcoholmeter. In this category, any arbitrary arbitrary arbitrary calibration can also be created.

Diluters are mainly used in industrial series measurements because they present unavoidable read errors mainly due to capillary phenomena. For laboratory measurements of the accuracy of a fluid density, more precise methods are used, such as weighing a volumetric flask in a precision balance.
