Fecal Occult Blood All Test

FOB Test for Detecting Hemoglobin in Stool (Fecal Occult Blood)

The FOB (Fecal Occult Blood) rapid test cassette TFO-602H by ALL TEST (Hangzhou Biotech) is a quick diagnostic tool for the qualitative detection of low levels of occult blood in stool (a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of human occult blood in stool).

It is simple and easy to use, providing reliable results in just five minutes.

Occult blood in stool may indicate colon cancer or polyps in the colon or rectum.

Symptoms of colon cancer include:

  • Persistent changes in bowel habits, diarrhea, constipation, or a change in stool consistency.
  • Rectal bleeding or blood in the stool.
  • Persistent abdominal discomfort.
  • Unexplained weight loss.
  • Weakness or fatigue.

Features:

  • FOB rapid test cassette: Rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human occult blood in stool.
  • User-friendly: Provides clear and reliable results (proven 99.1% accuracy) in just five minutes.
  • Utilizes a two-antibody sandwich assay for selective detection of occult blood in stool at 50ng/mL (or more, or 6μg per gram) of stool.
  • Accuracy is unaffected by patients' diet (unlike guaiac methods).
  • CE marked, ideal for home self-testing (in vitro diagnostic use).

Instructions for Use (In Vitro Diagnostic Use):

  1. Before testing, allow the sample and swab to reach room temperature (15°C to 30°C).
  2. Sample collection: Place the stool sample in an appropriate container. Use the stool collector to avoid contamination of the sample with chemicals to ensure it remains unaltered.
  3. Sample processing: Unscrew the cap of the sample collection tube. Randomly stab the applicator into at least three different areas of the stool sample (do not dig into the sample).
  4. Tighten the cap on the sample collection tube, then shake it vigorously to mix the sample with the extraction buffer.
  5. Allow the pouch to reach room temperature before opening. Remove the test cassette from its foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. For best results, perform the test immediately after opening the foil pouch.
  6. Hold the sample collection tube upright and open the cap. Invert the sample collection tube. Transfer two drops of the extracted sample (approximately 80µL) into the sample well (“S”) of the test cassette, then start the timer.
  7. Avoid trapping air bubbles in the sample well (“S”).
